Welcome to Byron Air Adventures (BAA) where we offer flights in an ex-RAAF CT4 and a Russian military high-performance training aircraft.
Byron Air Adventures is an Adventure Flight company specialising in making flying fun. Our flights range from leisurely cruising around the coastline and the Byron Hinterland to absolute gut wrenching, adrenalin pumping, high G extreme aerobatics. Formation flights and aerial dogfighting are offered in the CT4 and Yak52 in true East versus West mock combat flights.
Whether it’s enjoying the stunning panoramic views of Mt Warning or hanging by your harness as you experience the ultimate 3D roller coaster ride, we can provide the total joyflight experience to suit your individual taste and budget. Training can also be provided for those pilots wanting aerobatic, spinning or design feature endorsements.

Our Planes
The CT4 is a military training aircraft derived from the Australian designed and built Victa Airtourer.
The Yak 52, VH-YYA, is a 1991 model built for the Russian Air Force, making it one of the newest Yaks in Australia.
